July 15-17  -  Annual ABATE Meeting

    **Open to the Public!**

Lunch will be served at noon for $10 per plate and it is open to the public. 

• ABATE (American bikers for awareness, training and education).

• President of the local North Star Chapter is Allen Foster;

• They are a not-for-profit organization that helps educate people about motorcycles on the highway and also helps people get their motorcycle endorsement.

• They fight for motorcycle rights.

• Some big things they do in our community is:

  • 1-800-dial a ride. If you don’t feel safe riding your motorcycle we come pick you and your bike up and bring you home for free.

  • A buddy bear program - they purchase teddy bears and donate them to EMTs, life flight, firemen and police to hand out to kids in distress.

  • We will be serving lunch at noon for $10 per plate and it is open to the public. Any other questions feel free to ask.
