Grant Haven Campground

Our RV sites include 60’ gravel pads which are very easy to back into with water, sewer and 30/50 amp electric hookups. Sites were designed to accommodate large campers/motorhomes and include room for a trailer at your campsite or in the overflow parking area close by. Free wifi around the entire park. There are walking trails, a play area for the kids and plenty of extra space for children and pets to run around.

Pets are welcome at all times but we expect them to be cleaned up after.

Arrival & Departure Information

Check-in time is from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Check-in after 9:00 pm must be arranged in advance.

Check-out time is 12:00 pm. Late check-out arrangements must be made with the office prior to departure. Additional charges may apply.

We are open YEAR ROUND. If you wish to check in sooner or stay longer, please check with management so we have you in a site where water and septic are available in those winter months! We would love to have you ANYtime!

General Policies

CHILDREN: NO MINOR CHILDREN may be at your campsite without an adult on site. If you leave the campground for any reason, make plans to have someone responsible for your child while you are away. That child should be able to tell us who is watching them.

Minor children (under the age of 16 years) need to be at their campsite or at another campsite with a responsible adult by 10:00 pm each night. Quiet time starts at 10:00 pm. Have fun, but respect those who go to bed early by turning down your music and lowering your voices.

Speed limit within the campground for any moving vehicle, cart, or ATV is 5 MPH. Please slow your speed and watch for children as your enter the camping area.

Firearms of all kinds, including pellet guns or BB guns are prohibited unless specifically approved by management.

Participation in illegal and/or criminal activity anywhere on the Grant Haven property by ANY seasonal camper, family member or guest may result in immediate termination of the lease and eviction of seasonal camper.

Fireworks are not allowed in the campground. No EXCEPTIONS. A controlled event may be planned by management near the gravel pit or river. No Fireworks at campsites.

Campers will not trim or remove any live foliage or trees without management approval.

Wood for bonfires will be available for purchase near garage. State Law prohibits the use of off-site firewood, due to disease spreading. Fires are only allowed in the approved fire rings/pits. Absolutely no burning of garbage and no ashes from burnt wood to be put in garbage containers. Campers are responsible to clean out their fire pits.

Pet Policy

No additional fee, as long as the rules listed below are followed:

Good behavior is required. Dogs of any breed that are hostile or aggressive will be asked to leave the campground, along with their owners.

We are dog friendly - other pets (cats, etc.) are welcome on a short term basis but at your own risk. We are not responsible for any incidents of any kind.

Bring the leash. Minnesota has a leash law for animals. Grant Haven asks that you either have your pet leashed or under control by owner. Do not leave a tethered dog unattended.

Remember manners. Constant barking bothers other campers. If your pet is too vocal, you'll need to find other accommodations.

Please clean up your pets’ waste immediately.

If rules are not followed, the credit card on file will be charged a $10 Clean Up Fee per pet - due to damage done by previous pets and the clean up required, we have to enforce this. Please don't make us!

Seasonal Camper Information

Rent is due the 1st of each month. Checks should be made payable to Grant Haven. A late fee of $50 will be added for any rent payment not received by the 5th of the month. Please put your lot number on check or cash envelope. You may place in rent box or schedule a meet time with Meagan via call/text (218-766-6043) - if not paid online.

If you've paid for the month but leave early, we will prorate you for the days/weeks you stayed - you may get a refund or not, depending on the date you leave.

Please no large rugs on grass! We understand the need for rugs to decrease the amount of dirt brought into campers, but the large rugs ruin the grass area in front of your camper. A $50 penalty will result for any damage to the grass as a result of a rug.

Seasonal campers are specifically responsible for the following:
1. Keep site presentable at all times.
2. Assume responsibility for the safety of your children and guests, anywhere within or around the campground. Campers will be held responsible for damage caused by your children or your guests.
3. Dispose of your personal property off site. Only common household trash should be put in the dumpsters. Local transfer station = 751 Industrial Drive SE. A $100 penalty will result for any prohibited items placed in dumpsters (i.e. construction materials, tires, mattresses, oils, etc).
4. Safe guard your own personal property and maintain adequate insurance coverage. Grant Haven is not responsible for accidents or stolen property.
5. No on-street parking of vehicles/trailers will be permitted unless approved by management. Use available overflow parking areas in the East Side and SouthEast corner of the property.

In case of termination or eviction: camping units, personal property and all other items are to be removed from the Grant Haven property campsite. Property not removed within ten (10) days or by December 15th, will be considered abandoned and will become the property of Grant Haven. Owners of such property will be responsible for all costs related to removal, storage, and/or disposal of such property.

Cancellation Policy:

In case of Cancellation:
- Cancellations with notice prior to two weeks before your stay will be refunded, minus the credit card processing fees ($5 minimum)
- Cancellation notice of 14-7 days will be charged 50%
- Cancellation notice of 6 days or less will result in NO REFUND.
